Kalamity to face biggest challenge to date at Femmes Fatales IX

Coming off the back of a successful show at Femmes Fatales VIII earlier this month (which was declared by all as the “best FF event to date”), our friends in Montreal are turning their attention to the next show already. To be held on July 7th at the Centre St-Barthelemy, Femmes Fatales IX will feature a main event of Kalamity defending her Championnat International Femmes Fatales against an unexpected rival. Click play on the video (which aired on Saturday at NCW’s “Crime Scene”) to see who came face to face with Kalamity at SHIMMER just over a week ago.

This will represent Sara Del Rey‘s first appearance at Femmes Fatales in two years (last appearance being at Femmes Fatales III in June 2010), but she very much remains a “somebody” in the wrestling world, and will be a worthy contender for Kalamity – who, as noted – has stepped up her game significantly in 2012 already.

As far as the rest of the card is concerned, it seems likely that Mercedes Martinez and LuFisto are on a collision course, given the brawl that ended Femmes Fatales VIII; while Sweet Cherrie is preparing to accept the challenge laid down by Portia Perez to “find a partner” to take on The Canadian Ninjas on July 7th.

Interesting to note that the way the card is shaping up so far finds Kalamity, LuFisto & Sweet Cherrie all tied up with other matches… and with the invasion of the Midwest Militia (of Jessicka Havok, Sassy Stephie & Allysin Kay) on the show, who will end up defending Femmes Fatales against the Militia?

This is terrific news! First the Midwest Militia and now another dream match come true with Del Rey vs. Kalamity. The Oncoming storm is in huge trouble.

Watch your back, Kalamity.
