Bombshell Ladies Of Wrestling are back for another iPPV as part of a weekend of action presented by parent company Pro Wrestling Syndicate. Headlining the show is Missy Sampson defending the BLOW Championship which she won at February’s show, though it’s not against originally announced opponent Alexa Thatcher, who was due to make her return at the event after a prolonged absence.
PWS revealed that she had pulled out of the card a couple of weeks ago, and was replaced with Mickie Knuckles, who lost in the first round of Women Superstars Uncensored‘s Queen and King of the Ring earlier today.
Also take place on the card, Amy Lee and Amazing Kong face off again – this time in a First Blood Match – as well as Serena Deeb taking on Shelly Martinez, and Santana Garrett against La Rosa Negra.
You can order the event from highspots.tv – which is $10, or free if you have a subscription to the service – so there’s still time to throw down some money and watch. Alternatively, we’re updating you with results as they happen, so click after the jump and keep hitting refresh… (more…)

Life seems to be going well for Jenny Rose. The 20-year old has been making believers of many since returning to the US following a 6 month stint in Japan, primarily wrestling for Kyoko Inoue‘s Diana promotion. It was there where her former guise of Jamilia Craft was jettisoned and Jenny Rose was born, which the Philadelphia native has insisted is closer to the real her than the masked Craft character ever was. As well as wrestling – and teaming with – Jessie “Bonesaw” Brooks in Women Superstars Uncensored, she won the WXW-C4 Women’s Championship last week, and continued that run last night by winning the IndyGurlz Grand Prix tournament in Boonton, NJ last night.
Defeating Brooks (who reportedly has new gear, which is great as the old blue and red bodysuit was nothing to write home about), Kylie Pierce and Veda Scott, Rose won the title belt which was to be given to the sole survivor, though it is unclear if this is meant to be received as an award, or is an actual championship that is to be defended. Either way, it’s a massive shot in the arm for the youngster, who is seemingly making 2012 her year.

It was always going to be a pretty ambitious start, but it seems like it has paid off for Amber O’Neal’s ArenaChicks project.
Throw together the elements of a midnight start, the fact that it was on the first evening of the Gathering of the Juggalos festival at Cave-In-Rock, IL featuring tens of thousands of visitors, and that it was the first real card that the promotion has ever put together, and the makings were there for it to fall over. However, it appears that everything went according to plan, and the best part about is that we won’t have to pay to see it. (more…)
ArenaChicks promoter Amber O’Neal has revealed the card for the promotion’s first ever show, which is due to take place at midnight on Thursday August 11 as part of the Insane Clown Posse’s 4-day long Gathering of the Juggalos 2011 event at Cave-In-Rock, IL.
Throughout 2011, O’Neal has worked a number of the Juggalo Championship Wrestling shows, and has formed a strong working relationship with the ICP, which has led to her gaining a slot at a festival which pulls in an average of more than 100,000 fans every year.
Previously, the matches compiled for the debut volume of ArenaChicks were amalgamated from a number of different shows hosted by CWF Mid-Atlantic Wrestling, based in Burlington, NC. This will be the first full-blown card put together by the promotion, with five matches announced for the twilight show, and it looks to be a strong lineup:
Amber O’Neal v Jessicka Havok
Sassy Stephie v Brittany Force v Allysin Kay
Angel Orsini v Josie (Sojo Bolt in TNA, and Lady JoJo in OVW)
Epiphany & Jenny Star v Taryn Shay & CJ Lane
Jazz v Izza Belle Smothers
Women Superstars Uncensored’s second venture onto internet pay-per-view is the big push towards its flagship show of the year, the 4th Anniversary Show on March 5. Essentially, even though it featured a stacked card and a title unification bout in the main event, think of The Last Chapter as the equivalent of a WWE b-show like Elimination Chamber, in that it is designed to be a three hour commercial for WrestleMania.
Nevertheless, with two triple threat matches, an Uncensored rules match and a ladder match, this was shaping up to be a pretty varied night of action. So after throwing down $10 to GoFightLive for the privilege, this writer sat down to experience his first ever iPPV. (more…)
Episode 10 with Mercedes Martinez
The Women of Wrestling podcast returns with the WSU World Womens Champion, “The Latina Sensation” Mercedes Martinez. We preview the upcoming “Icon vs Icon” match at WSU’s Uncensored Rumble III in Union City, NJ on June 26th, and take the opportunity to discuss the career of one of the finest wrestlers in the world today, regardless of gender. Martinez has worked pretty much everywhere of note, so we take a spin around most of those stops, to discuss things like working a SEVENTY minute match against Angel Orsini, putting SHIMMER on the map with Sara Del Rey, interest from WWE, violence in IWA-MS and ChickFight, being knocked literally unconscious in the ring at ROH, constantly dislocating shoulders, taking wrestling’s next step with EVOLVE… and yes, even Wrestlicious.
